Going Deeper is a wonderful opportunity for more in-depth study and exposure to the Bible. Prepared by our director of Adult Education, Dr. Mike Heiser, and arranged in 4-week sessions, these evening classes will help you grow in the knowledge of God’s Word. We examine different aspects of the Old and New Testament, a variety of doctrines and distinctives, and help you survey the Bible in context.
In the past, we've had classes on the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible, Christian Apologetics, How We Got the Bible, Eschatology, OT Survey, and topics of practical interest such as Parenting and Marriage.
Classes are held on Thursday evenings, 6:30-7:30 PM and are held at Grace. We usually run them every other month or so through the year. For questions, contact Dax Swanson at email@example.com.
CURRENT CLASS: Thinking Like an Israelite, meeting Thursday evenings in February.
Our current class is helping us see how the Israelite heard God's Word. We're examining how the ancient reader thought about sacred space, calendars and festivals, impurity and sin, and more. Mike Heiser, Academic editor at Faithlife, author of The Unseen Realm, and elder at Grace, teaches this free course open to our community.
