I have been blessed to grow up in Hawaii, attend Princeton University, serve the sick and deliver babies as a physician, experience missions in China and Africa, and above all to be on the receiving end of the blessings of a wonderful wife and two beautiful kids. My formal training has been an M.D. from U.C.S.F. and an M.Div. from The Master’s Seminary. I really do count it all loss for the wonder of the good news of Jesus Christ. I pinch myself that I get to spend my life proclaiming the gospel in expositing the Word of God chapter by chapter, verse by verse.

I've served the church in my current role since it was planted in August, 2009.

My favorite book of the Bible is any book I'm currently preaching on. Really! I love to talk about the gospel in daily living, about the hope and grace we have in Christ. Maybe that's why my two kids are named Hope and Grace!
